What is radioBee?
radioBee is a mobile application for cell phones, acting as a Internet radio player. It supports mp3 broadcasted streams, including streams from radio broadcasters listed in the free SHOUTcast Radio directory and Icecast directory. As an integrated product, radioBee allows to the users to search internet radio stations by picks, genre, name and sort them by bitrate, rating and reliability through radioBee data server. It provides a reliability rating to each known station using a proprietary algorithm and implement a single voting system from radioBee usersp>

How much it will cost?
Version 1.6 and above for smartphones are distributed via several vendors, please check the vendor price. If you download the old free version, there is no charge. However, make sure you have NON-LIMITED data plan, otherwise your carrier will charge you for the extra data traffic.
What do I need to use it?
You need a compatible phone with included non-limited data (Internet) plan.
Is my phone compatible?
Most java phones are compatible. Download radioBee and try it. You will see an error message, if something is wrong.
Can I add a station by URL?
Yes,if it broadcasts in mp3 format. You will need your station URL. Call and ask your radio, if you don't know it
Can I just search for stations?
Yes. You can search by name and/or genre from radioBee menu
I have BlackBerry, can I use it?
Absolutelly, please try our 1.6 version, our users like it a lot.
You will need a device with OS 4.3 and above. You can use radioBee on Storm as well, but there is no specific touch-screen version of radioBee released yet
I have Android (Google phone), can I use it?
Yes, please check our forum and the download section
I have iPhone, can I use it?
Please wait for the iPhone version, it will be announced on the site
I have Smartphone / Windows mobile, can I use it?

Can I control the volume?
In version 1.6 you can do that with volume bittons. In 1.5x you can use the left and right buttons of the joystick

Where are these radiostations?
You can listen to any internet radiostations which use ShoutCast or IceCast server for internet broadcasting in mp3 format
You can even install such a server on your computer and broadcast your music to your (and other) phone(s)
The station should not use port 80 or 8080.
I need to listen radio XYZ! Where it is?
Not all radiostations in the world broadcast in Internet and use mp3 format.
Please try to search for your station from radioBee menu. If you can not find it,
call / e-mail radio XYZ and ask them for their URL broadcasting address in mp3 format, and try it
Some of these station make pauses from time to time
For stations with better quality you will need faster data connection (3G, 4G) on your phone.
If you have only GPRS or EDGE, you may expect delays in the sound from time to time
What is the Setup section in the menu?
In version 1.6 you just have to use your connection type
In older version(1.5x)There are three values :
Make "Buffer size" larger (depends on your phone) - 200000, 300000, 400000,...
make "must full-in size" half of the "buffer size", i.e. if buffer size=300000, full-in size=150000
Uncheck "Single Player", but if you don't hear any sound or there are strange audio effects,
then check it and try to play again, and compare the audio quality
Do you collect some user data?
Yes, we do because radioBee shows ad content. If you don't like it, please don't use it. Please read terms and conditions
Can I test my phone?
Yes. In general, it should be java phone - download radioBee and try to use it
You can use also "Test Phone" from the menu - here is what you should see as minimum :
MIDP : MIDP-2.0
CLDC : 1.1
MMAPI : 1.1
mp3 support over: http
midlet http access : Darik Radio, Sofia
I can browse with my phone, but there is no connection with radioBee?
Most phones has THREE DIFFERENT settings
(1) http / wap / APN settings for your installed browser
(2) separate settings (http, wap, APN, ...) for your java applications
(3) separate settings again for your streaming
If you have WiFi capability, these are separate settings as well.
All of them can must be set properly in order to use radioBee
You need to contact your carrier to obtain the proper settings
Why it is saying "application not authorized to access restricted API?"
That means your carrier does not allow you to install third-party applications on your cell pnone.
Why it is saying "can not create player?"
That means your phone does not allow to java programs to use and play mp3 audio.
How can I delete radioBee?
In general, from Applications -> Delete. Check your phone manual if you can not find it.

Old version - radioBee 1.52 for regular java phones : It will not work on all java phones. If you have a regular java phone and woujld like to try it, please try 1.52 demo first

SETUP
Once you have downloaded Radio Bee and installed it in your phone, open the app and click or tap on "Add Station By Url" The next step is to add the MSC Stream to your phone please add the WHOLE url http://208.110.69.125:8210/
After you add the URL go to main menu and click on the feed and you will be able to tune in..
